Integrating Technology in Arts Education: Enhancing Creativity, Collaboration, and Digital Literacy
Abstract
This paper explores the integration of technology in arts education and its potential to enhance creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy among students. Drawing on literature from education, technology studies, and arts integration, the paper examines the affordances of digital tools and platforms in expanding the possibilities of artistic expression and learning. It discusses how technology can facilitate new modes of creativity, such as digital art, interactive installations, and multimedia performances, while also providing opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-cultural exchange. The paper highlights the importance of fostering digital literacy skills among students, including critical thinking, media literacy, and ethical considerations in the digital realm.
