It is well established that reading aloud plays a crucial role in children's development, particularly in enhancing language, literacy, and cognitive skills. However, the effects of reading aloud on second language learners remain underexplored. This study aims to investigate the impact of reading aloud on second language development and reading engagement of preschool learners acquiring a second language. Employing a mixed method approach, the research gathered data from multiple sources. Quantitative data were obtained through vocabulary assessments, while qualitative data were collected via interviews with the parents, discussions with a teaching assistant, and field notes. The analysis revealed that reading aloud positively influences children’s vocabulary acquisition. Notably, utilizing both the first language (L1) and the second language (L2) to read the same text significantly enhanced children’s vocabulary recognition skills. Furthermore, engaging reading sessions in both L1 and L2 fostered greater engagement among the children. Ultimately, the reading aloud interventions proved effective in nurturing and cultivating a love for reading among the participants.

Additionally, digital tools facilitate typesetting and formatting adjustments, easing the burden of intricate details. Furthermore, it enriches academic writing by introducing visual presentation.

With the deepening of globalization, international crises can transcend borders and spread worldwide, threatening the security and development of all humanity. Since the Cuban Missile Crisis, the theory of crisis management within international politics has gradually matured, leading to the emergence of crisis management models such as third-party intervention, as it has been said, "strategies may no longer exist in the future; instead, crisis management will take their place" [1]. At the same time, individuals acting as third parties have become important managers of international crises, with their strategies and autonomy influencing the course of crisis resolution. This paper uses the First North Korean Nuclear Crisis as a case study to summarize the modes of personal third-party intervention in crisis management and analyze how individuals effectively advanced the negotiation process.

It emphasizes the organic unity between sketch thinking and painting creation thinking.

The research is based on a theory of virtual digitization to produce a digital art practical project with visual feedback, emotional needs and practical production value for the consumer. In this digital clothing design project, it is planned to complete a phase of fabric practice for a smart textile scuba diving suit, and to be responsible for establishing a brand logo design that meets the functional potential of the product, completing the design of the digital product and modelling it to predict the potential psychological experience of different visual art styles on the product.

This study takes Xiar Town, Jiulong County, Ganzi, as an example to explore specific approaches for promoting Mandarin in ethnic minority regions. First, the research examines the practical implementation of Mandarin promotion efforts, such as the establishment of Mandarin training classes and the organization of Mandarin speech competitions, analyzing their impact on improving local residents' Mandarin proficiency. Second, the study investigates how Mandarin promotion can be advanced while respecting local language habits and cultural traditions, emphasizing the importance of cultural integration. Finally, strategies that align with local culture and values are summarized, providing insights and references for the promotion of Mandarin in ethnic minority areas.

In recent years, the rise of digital communication platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, and short video platforms has transformed traditional media and diversified transmission channels. Relying on multimedia platforms and various offline folk activities, the transmission paths of the Mongolian Long Song in Tekes County have expanded, achieving simultaneous online and offline transmission, as well as individual and collective transmission. This enables learners who are passionate about the Mongolian Long Song in Tekes County to not only engage in self-learning through multimedia but also receive personal instruction from veteran artists. Additionally, due to Tekes County’s unique natural landscapes and historical architecture, tourism in the area has flourished. Under the guidance of the local government, the region has successfully integrated the transmission of Mongolian Long Song with tourism, gradually establishing a unique "living heritage" transmission path for the Mongolian Long Song in Tekes County.

Heilongjiang Province is the northernmost region in China, which is rich in water system resources, forest resources and wetland resources, and has given birth to a unique minority-Hezhe nationality. Hezhe peoples fish skin making skills were listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists, and Hezhe peoples marriage customs and Wurigong conference were listed as national intangible cultural heritage items, among which Hezhe peoples "Imakan" was listed in the "Intangible Cultural Heritage List in Urgent Need of Protection" by UNESCO. Taking Hezhe nationality as the research object, this paper first introduces the development process of Hezhe nationality, then analyzes the artistic characteristics and significance of Hezhe nationality fish skin painting according to the field investigation, and finally puts forward corresponding solutions from the perspective of cultural inheritance.

This essay critically examines the Chinese parenting style which incited widespread debate. The discussion highlights the cultural roots of Chinese parenting, and analysis based on  children's rights perspectives outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Through a comprehensive review of parenting styles, including Baumrind's typology, the essay argues that while the Chinese parenting style yield academic success, it may disregard children's autonomy and rights. The paper advocates for a balanced approach that respects children's voices and promotes their holistic development, emphasizing the need for contemporary parenting practices to evolve in alignment with children's rights and modern educational philosophy. Ultimately, it calls for increased awareness and education regarding children's rights within Chinese society to foster healthier family dynamics and educational outcomes.

LICC is a professional model of listening to and evaluating lessons. It observes the classroom from four dimensions: student learning, teacher teaching, curriculum nature and classroom culture. Among them, teacher questioning is an observation point worth studying. Taking "area and area unit" open class as an example, based on the LICC paradigm of classroom observation and the observation scale of "teacher questioning", this paper makes a comprehensive and in-depth observation and analysis of teacher questioning in primary school mathematics classroom. Through observation records and data analysis, the author puts forward some suggestions on primary school mathematics teachers' questioning in order to improve the effectiveness of teachers' questioning.

Second Language learner emotions has been a hot research topic recently. In the realm of emotion regulation, both theoretical frameworks and empirical studies have yielded substantial findings. This study explores emotion regulation among English majors within the contexts of further education and employment. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven English majors, and their responses were transcribed and analyzed using Nvivo. The findings indicate that: (1) emotion regulation strategies differ between English majors in further education versus employment contexts; (2) their choice of emotion regulation strategies is influenced by internal factors such as beliefs and personality, as well as external factors like interpersonal relationships and environmental conditions. These results contribute to the understanding of emotion regulation in the contexts of further education and employment, offering practical guidance for English majors in managing their emotions.

In the process of research, we focused on the specific application cases of AI in product design (Product Design), visual art (Visual Arts), and user experience design (User Experience Design, UX Design). For example, in the field of product design, by using algorithm-driven generative design (Generative Design) technology, designers can explore numerous design possibilities to create products that meet functional needs and aesthetic characteristics. Take Tesla (Tesla) as an example. By introducing artificial intelligence algorithm in the design of the electric vehicle, it not only improves the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle, but also optimizes the production process and effectively reduces the cost. The impact of AI on the visual art is equally significant. With the development of deep learning technology, artists and designers can create new works of art using AI programs. For example, images generated using GANs provoke new discussions in the field of art creation, not only enriching traditional art forms but also challenging the definition of art creation itself. We will analyze specific cases, such as "Algorithmic Art" (Algorithmic Art) artist Refik Anadol uses data visualization technology to transform dynamic data into visual experience, and then explore its potential impact on audience perception and art appreciation. In terms of user experience design, the application of AI is mainly reflected in the two aspects of personalized experience and user behavior prediction. With data mining (Data Mining) and behavior analysis (Behavioral Analysis) technologies, designers are able to more accurately understand the user needs and optimize the interface design and interaction processes accordingly. In this regard, we will provide empirical data support. Through the case demonstration of large online platforms such as Netflix and Amazon, how they use machine learning algorithms to analyze user preferences, realize personalized recommendation, and then improve user satisfaction and loyalty. In general, the application of artificial intelligence in the field of design not only promotes the change of design thinking, but also realizes the automation, intelligence and individuation of the design process, which will profoundly affect the working mode and creative concept of designers. However, the rapid development of artificial intelligence has also brought new challenges and ethical issues, such as the ownership of creative rights, algorithm bias and so on. In this context, this paper will finally summarize the opportunities and challenges of ARTIFICIAL intelligence in design, and call on relevant scholars and practitioners to pay more attention to the moral and social impact of these issues, so as to provide a more comprehensive perspective for future research and practice.

Over the past few years, China has seen a growing prevalence of mental disabilities, with the number of affected individuals increasing each year. These individuals often require extended periods of rehabilitation, which places considerable caregiving responsibilities on their families. Rooted in traditional Chinese culture, families typically assume the role of primary caregivers, driven by a sense of duty and the societal stigma surrounding disabilities. This stigma fosters a cultural norm of keeping family issues private, leading families to operate within a socially insulated space shaped by persons with disabilities and service providers. The prolonged caregiving responsibilities also highlight the need for support systems that extend to caregivers. However, existing support structures in China largely focus on individuals with mental disabilities, overlooking the rights and protections needed by their caregivers. This study employs social ecological system theory to explore the challenges faced by family caregivers. Additionally, it draws on Esping-Andersen's welfare regime framework to analyze the welfare protections available to caregivers of persons with mental disabilities in the UK, considering four key dimensions: rights support, economic assistance, time-related support, and service provision. The goal is to offer insights and recommendations for enhancing China’s welfare protection system for caregivers.

This paper examines the relationship between distance learning methods and satisfaction and academic achievement among Chinese college students. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, education has been significantly impacted globally, prompting educational institutions to rapidly adopt technology to sustain teaching activities. In China, many universities have turned to online teaching models in response to the epidemic. This study aims to explore how distance learning methods affect student satisfaction and academic achievement. Quantitative data were collected and analyzed through questionnaires and standardized tests. The results showed a significant positive correlation between students' satisfaction with different distance learning methods and their academic achievement. The study also found that teacher performance, teacher-student interaction, curriculum evaluation and other factors are the main factors affecting student satisfaction. The findings provide insights for optimizing the distance education environment and improving student learning experience and satisfaction.

This paper aims to explore the civilizational changes and interactive relationships between China and France during the modernization process from the perspective of digital humanities, particularly focusing on the significant historical milestone of the 60th anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations. It begins by defining cultural landscape genes as the core elements that constitute the uniqueness and continuity of specific cultural landscapes, analogous to genes in biology. The theoretical foundations are established through cultural geography and heritage conservation theories. The study compares Eastern and Western interpretations of cultural landscapes. Eastern perspectives emphasize harmony between humans and nature, as seen in traditional Chinese, while Western perspectives focus on human dominance over nature, evident in European formal gardens and urban planning. The impact of globalization is examined, highlighting challenges such as cultural homogenization and the preservation of cultural diversity. The article addresses the balance between inheritance and innovation, acknowledging challenges like over-commercialization and cultural alienation. To mitigate these issues, it proposes solutions such as formulating reasonable policies and regulations to protect cultural heritage, strengthening community participation to ensure local engagement and authenticity, and enhancing education and public awareness to foster appreciation and support for cultural landscapes. Through a historical overview, the article examines how iconic photographs from movements like the Civil Rights Movement and Anti-Apartheid Movement have become symbolic representations of their respective causes. In the digital age, the impact of photography has been amplified by social media, allowing images to rapidly reach and mobilize global audiences. Survey data reveals that a significant majority of individuals experience strong emotional reactions to social movement photography, which in turn increases their likelihood of participating in activism. The article also addresses the ethical challenges photographers face in accurately and responsibly documenting social movements. The conclusion highlights the ongoing importance of photography in driving social change and the need for ethical considerations in its practice.
